Options and Editor Preferences¶
Look up the panel visibility controls, built-in help access, and editor-level Pivot Tool preferences.
Display and About Menus¶
The main options menu controls which sections are visible in the panel and exposes the built-in help panels.
- Pivot Presets — show or hide the preset section.
- Offset & Snap — show or hide the numeric offset and vertex snap section.
- Actor Pivots — show or hide the actor pivot section.
- Align Actors — show or hide the alignment tools.
- Bake Pivots — show or hide the bake section.
- Sockets — show or hide the sockets section.
- Change Log — opens the built-in changelog panel.
- Preset Help — opens the built-in preset help panel.
Responsive panel behavior¶
- Main tool groups wrap automatically as the panel width changes.
- Section headers can simplify or hide their text in very narrow layouts.
- Some controls collapse to shorter labels to keep actions accessible in docked sidebars.
Editor Preferences¶
Configure Pivot Tool behavior in Edit > Editor Preferences > Plugins > Pivot Tool.
- Display Pivot Preset Preview — enables live preview in the viewport when hovering over preset buttons.
- Preview Shape — choose None, Point, Sphere, Crosshair, or Coordinate indicator.
- Preview Color — color of the preview indicator.
- Point Size — size of the preview point.
- Sphere Radius — radius of the preview sphere.
- Line Thickness — thickness of crosshair or coordinate lines.
- Line Length — length of crosshair or coordinate lines.
